Helping Businesses Tell Their Story Through Photography & Film
Bruce Associates recently opened a new location in Berlin Borough, and we had the opportunity to photograph their grand opening and ribbon cutting.
Events like this are important moments for a business. They're an opportunity to celebrate a new chapter, introduce yourself to the community, and give people a reason to stop and take notice.
But the photos and video created around an event don't have to disappear after the event is over.
One Event Can Create Weeks of Content
A grand opening, ribbon cutting, company event, team gathering, or even a normal day at the office can provide a business with a library of content that can be used across social media and marketing.
Professional photographs can be used for:
Instagram and Facebook posts
LinkedIn
Website updates
Google Business Profile
Newsletters and email marketing
Press releases and local publications
Advertising
Future promotional materials
Video gives businesses another way to connect with potential customers. A short video can show the personality of a team, the atmosphere of a business, the process behind a product or service, or simply give people a better idea of what it's like to work with you.
And that's something that applies to almost any business.
A restaurant can show the experience of dining there. A contractor can show their work in progress and the finished project. A real estate company can introduce its agents. A law firm can put faces to the people clients will actually work with. A local shop can show the people and personality behind the business.
People don't just want to know what you do. They want to get a sense of who you are and what it feels like to work with you.
Photography and Video Work Together
Photography and video aren't competing forms of content. They give businesses different ways to communicate.
A strong photograph can stop someone while they're scrolling. Video can show movement, personality, process, and atmosphere.
Having both also gives you more flexibility when creating content. A single shoot can produce photographs for your website and social media along with short video clips that can be used for Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, or other platforms.
That's one of the things I enjoy most about working with businesses. The goal isn't simply to create a few nice photos or one video. It's to create useful content that a business can continue using long after the camera is put away.
Back to Bruce Associates
Working with Bruce Associates is a great example of that.
We've already had the opportunity to create an introduction video for their business, and this time we were there to document their grand opening and ribbon cutting.
Those are two very different projects, but both help tell the story of the business.
The introduction video gives potential clients an opportunity to meet the people behind Bruce Associates and learn more about what they do. The grand opening photographs document an important milestone while also giving them fresh content to share with their community.
That's the real value of good business photography and video.
You're not just creating content for today. You're building a library of images and video that can help tell your story over and over again.
Whether you're opening a new location, launching a new service, introducing your team, or simply looking for better content for your social media, professional photography and video can give people a reason to stop scrolling and take a closer look.
