The Reeds At Shelter Haven Wedding - Rachael and Patrick

We are so excited to be able to tell a piece of the amazing story of this power couple! Rachael and Patrick have accomplished more in their 5 years together than a lot of couples accomplish in their lifetime!  

Their story began in New York City 5 years ago in 2018. They met online and agreed to a date in Bryant Park. Both of them had a similar dream…to leave the city behind for a fresh start in many aspects of life. Now that is something that most of us say we want to do, think about it for a bit, maybe make a few small changes, and then stay content with that. Not this awesome duo!  They grabbed life by the horns, joined forces, moved all the way across the country to Denver Colorado, and started to build their life together! It was like they were the missing piece in each other’s puzzle!

Being able to spend the day with these two was so inspiring! They planned for a beach wedding, which does come with some risks as you never know what Mother Nature has up her sleeve. They ended up with a picture perfect beach day! Bright sunshine, balmy temperatures and a light breeze…maybe a little warmer than they bargained for at the end of October, but it sure beats a chilly windy day! My Patrick started out with Rachael’s Patrick, hanging with him and they guys as they got ready at The Reeds in Stone Harbor. I was lucky enough to hang out with Rachael across the street at Salt Spa at the Reeds, as her and the girls spent some time getting hair and makeup done, and dressing for the day. After a quick first look with Rachael and her dad, we hopped on the trolley and were off to the beach where all the guys were already posing for photos. After the couple shared a sweet first look, we did some more beach pics and film and then had a lovely ceremony, complete with heartfelt vows that they wrote for each other!

We celebrated the rest of the day and night away back at The Reeds, with an impressive display of food at the cocktail hour. We were able to grab some gorgeous sunset film and dance and party with Strangers, one of the esteemed BVTLive! bands! It was an amazing night for an amazing couple! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Hashmall! May your adventures together always continue!
